Unlike the standard interclub championship, this Youth Chess Championship was held over one weekend (22-23 October) in Schifflange. This consisted of teams of 4 players. Eymen, Mihai, Hamza, Vlad, Ettore and Nikolai all participated to the event.
Our team finished in 3rd place, out of 16 teams, in its first participation in the youth championship.
Considering that the tournament is for players under 20 years old and our team was one of the youngest team of the competition, this 3rd place is a huge achievement. The future is here!
