- TOURNAMENT SYSTEM: 7 round Swiss system with FIDE rating. All FIDE regulations apply.

- Wednesday October 25 Deadline for Registration before 20:00
- Friday, October 27 Pairing – round 1 at 17:00
- 1st round Friday, October 27 at 18:30
- 2nd round Saturday October 28 at 09:15
- 3rd round Saturday, October 28 at 14:00
- 4th round Saturday, October 28 at 17:30
- 5th round Sunday, October 29 at 09:15
- 6th round Sunday, October 29 at 14:00
- 7th round Sunday, October 29 at 17:30
- Sunday, October 29 Closing Ceremony at 20:00
*By making the fee payment, you confirm your participation in the tournament. If you prefer to play from the 2nd round, you must fill in the relevant field in the Registration. Form Below.
- TIME CONTROL: 60 minutes plus 30 sec for each move until the end of the game, for each player. Recording of the moves is mandatory.
- TIE-BREAKS: To resolve possible tie-breaks the following criteria will be applied:
- a) The results of the tied players with each other (only if all tied players have played each other),
- b) Bucholz cut-1,
- c) Bucholz,
- d) The greater number of games played with black,
- e) The greater number of wins,
- f) Armageddon (only for Medals & prices).
- ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is set at 20€ for adults and 10€ for players under 18 y/o. Entry fees must be paid via bank deposit at the following account.

- PRIZES:
- 1st place: Cup – Champion of Bertrange – 300 euros,
- 2nd place: Cup – 150 euros,
- 3rd place: Cup - 100 euros,
- 1st woman: Cup – 50 euros,
- Medals will be awarded to the winners in the above categories U18, U16, U14, U12, U10 and U8 and the top 3 players from Bertrange chess club.
- MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 100

- GENERAL: The Tournament Director is responsible for decisions on any matter not covered by these regulations. The organizers have the right to make changes in schedule and prices in order to make improvements.
