FIDE rated rapid tournament

• VENUE: La Maison Schauwenbuerg (1er et 2ème étage), Bertrange --> MAP
• TOURNAMENT SYSTEM: 7 round Swiss system with FIDE rapid rating. All FIDE regulations apply.
• TIMETABLE:
• Thursday, November 3 Registration 14:30 to 15:45
• Thursday, November 3 1st round at 16:00
• Thursday, November 3 2nd round at 17:00
• Thursday, November 3 3rd round at 18:00
• Friday, November 4 4th round at 14:00
• Friday, November 4 5th round at 15:00
• Friday, November 4 6th round at 16:00
• Friday, November 4 7th round at 17:00
• Friday, November 4 Closing Ceremony at 18:00
• TIME CONTROL: 15 minutes plus 10 sec for each move until the end of the game, for each player. Recording of the moves is NOT mandatory.
• TIE-BREAKS: To resolve possible tie-breaks the following criteria will be applied:
• a) The results of the tied players with each other (only if all tied players have played each other),
• b) Bucholz cut-2,
• c) Bucholz,
• d) Armageddon (only for Medals & prices)
• PRIZES:
• 1st place: Cup – Champion of Bertrange
• 2nd, 3rd place and 1st girl: Cup
• Medals will be awarded to the winner in the above categories U14, U12, U10 and U8.
• MAXIMUM NUMBER OF PLAYERS: 60
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is set at 5€.
